Hey everyone

So I received a message from an old GT friend who found me on social media, and it made me board the nostalgia train. I Googled lots of things trying to find dead proboards my friend group made and the like. Eventually I came across this place and waybackmachine. Holy hell what a trip.. so many names I remember on waybackmachine, so many memories coming back. The cringe. I wish I could find more.

I was a regular in the Ruby & Sapphire forum around 2011 - 2014 and very active during the height of its popularity around 2012. I see a few names popped in over the years that I recognize. I hope I'm not too late to the party to say hi to some old friends or even just familiar names

I believe you. If this next decade is anything like 20 - 30 I'm gonna feel like an entirely different person by the end of it. Now I'm just me and there's the big 40 to dread.

I legitimately missed this extra step of entering your username and password everytime to post. Like a grandma who still uses a wall calendar.

enjoy, I hope life has treated you well over the years too :)

Man I remember having the stupidest password, it was like 3 letters, because of this. There is a login feature now, so that you can skip that step :P I can understand the nostalgia though.

It's been a ride.. This whole place seems to just be a sanctuary now, to the past.. Everything for a reason though, crazy how this was all planted in our minds. Times and minds past

40 was way better than 30 for me. I'm 43 now.

Life has gotten no easier but it has gotten better. I am more active in growing/shaping my own life. I'm better at dealing with problems. I'm better at honoring my feelings and controlling my reactions.

I'm all but certain that therapy has had a huge hand in my growth. I can't recommend therapy enough. Individual AND relationship.

I still use my original GT password. Because even when the ravages of old age and senility take me, my GT login will still be burned in my brain.
