Posted 2 Weeks ago by RikaxNipah

Rare's cancelled N64 game known as Dinosaur Planet, which ended up being repurposed into GameCube's Star Fox Adventures, has leaked online and is fully playable.

Forest of Illusion on Twitter released the files to Dinosaur Planet and shared some screenshots of the game that featured Star Fox's Fox McCloud.

I played this over the weekend. Really cool to see it finally leaked!

Now, here's hoping people mod and hack it to a fully playable and beatable state. :)

Fascinating... This sort of happened to Starfox 2 as well. The game was 100% complete and ready to be released, but Nintendo shelved it and updated it to Starfox 64.

I think Starfox Adventures was Rareware's last contractual obligation to Nintendo after transitioning to Microsoft. From what I heard the game... wasn't that good :(

I personally didn't care for it myself and just didn't get into it at all.
