I think Square Enix won because Final Fantasy VII.

Metroid Prime 4 was a no show at E3 this year. Nintendo didn't appeal to me.

What did Nintendo do that you thought won the event?

lol console wars

and I literally forgot (again) that MP4 is supposedly coming until I read this topic

FF7 remake looks really cool but I hope it feels good. 15 was a shitshow of style over substance, and I hope they've learned from its missteps.

I was pretty underwhelmed with Nintendo's conference on the whole. I'd probably rank it above everyone else if only because of the Banjo-Kazooie smash trailer, but most of their games just don't seem to appeal to me these days.

Metroid Prime 4 was a no show at E3 this year.

This was expected. In one of the more recent Nintendo Directs they said the development wasn't going well. They ultimately decided to restart the project and bring in Retro Studios. Hopefully having the original developer will be worth the extra wait.

I'm more disappointed that the Metroid Prime Trilogy for Switch is still just a rumor. Would be a good way to satisfy the fans in the meantime. Surely 3's waggle mechanics can't be that hard to map back to a controller...

I actually thought Final Fantasy VII was the most impressive game shown off at E3. I'm more excited than I was expecting, given Square's recent track record and blunders (this coming from a guy who liked Kingdom Hearts 3 and FFXV but acknowledges the flaws).

For me, Square took it all away this year just with the Remake. Nintendo was a close second, but nothing too impressive overall this year.

Everything. SwitchisFuture

MP4 was a no show cause they restarted it like 3 months ago. I was dissapointed we got no MP Trilogy. I guess that rumor was false

Nintendo announcements that hyped me up:

-2 bits of Smash news
-New Zelda announced (and somewhat shown off)
-Luigi's Mansion 3
-Reveal of newest Animal Crossing
-Release of the Mana Collection
-Fire Emblem cutscenes (where's the gameplay?)
-Astral Chain
-No More Heroes 3

I can see why people think Nintendo "won" E3. Non-Nintendo hype comes from Cyberpunk 2077, FFVII Remake, and Halo Infinite.
