I like to show up here every few years. This is the first time I've done it sober. What's going on people?

Just saw some of my "brilliant rp skills" from 2004 on the way back machine. Maximum cringe....

Lol, who among us can look at ourselves in 2004 and not cringe to death...

Oh Okuma have I got a present for you...have to scan it in, but found I had printed off a fight between you and Trever from 2005, which apparently I had to go deal w afterwards :p I found a binder I had while cleaning out a closet of old reference material from modding, including select posts. No clue exactly why yours made the folder, but I’ll have to scan it in. A good laugh.

Kira and I had a good fight, or at least the premise for one.

Well two good premises actually.

Unfortunately, I thought Malas had told me OOC to randomly attack Kira, but his forehead against his desk showed me otherwise after the fact, and suddenly it's a Sith civil war. A Sithil war.

I “liked”the premise of combat, and storylines going in and out of it significantly more than the combat itself. So many arguments all revolving around interpretations. And we still tried to write well worded posts while being specific As possible :p yes mr Malas certainly was a headache for me :p

Combat has been one of my greatest enjoyments in roleplay apart from roleplay itself but it definitely has its inherent flaws.

Trying to interpret something and then just misinterpreting something, so easy to do. Was always still enjoyable for me, I guess in part because these things became an expectation. Over time, certain misunderstandings between me and others came with laughter and shrugs.

I remember the Coruscant shindig quite well. Probably have it saved somewhere still. It was actually fun, under the circumstances.

But yeah when I attacked you as Lorion, somehow thinking it was my instruction, Malas was all "WHAT DID YOU DO" and I was all "Uh..?"

Before that, he told me to kill a Jedi (no specification) on some temple steps, so I'm like "Okay sure" and killed this NPC Jedi and Malas was all "WHAT DID YOU DO" and I was all "Uh..?"

Haha I did not know that backstory!! Gosh me and Malas had some tensions already so I just get a chuckle at the minor panic you must have caused him in a misunderstanding!
