I don't know..On one hand I like pokemon's realistic time to real world. Zelda's isn't so bad either(breath of the wild is my favorite).

This poll has way too many options

Metropolis Street Racer on the Dreamcast. This game used the system time clock to simulate the time of day for each city you raced in. So if you were set to race in Tokyo and it was night time there in real life, the game would set the track to be at night.

Dying Light

Completely changes the way the game plays. During the day the most you have to watch out for is attracting too many zombies with noise, but they can be diverted and distracted... As soon as it turns night though, it becomes a bit more of a stealth game as you try to avoid the more difficult variants that appear.

Like most games it sorta becomes less relevant once you're at the end of the game because you can take on those difficult zombies, but in the earlier phases it's really cool. Especially if you're far away from a safehouse.

Another game that has huge differences between night and day is Gears of War. Even though it doesn't have a true night/day cycle, it does have levels that are set in day and night. The levels set at night are harder due to the fact you have to stay in the areas with light or you'll get attacked by the Krill. Which on the harder difficulty settings can be an almost instant death.

My vote is Pokemon Crystal but I want to add that a few years ago a video store near me was closing down and selling off all their games. I got Quest 64 with it's box! I mean it's a shitty game but at least I have the box.
