My girlfriend got drunk for the first time last weekend and it was the cutest damn thing. Even (especially) when she got emotional and didn't understand why.

Yes. It has lots of books within the game (not as long as real books, but they are good reads), and it's got very little voice acting, but lots of dialog.

You missed a grand opportunity to post a picture of the costume with no one in it, to troll, or say that you're a ghosty or something.

I've only had two pictures of him in my life and he made me destroy them both.

Time to get a hideable camera, so he can't find it. If you want some tips, I know where you can get one. ;)

You'll want to stay away from my games, then. Minecraft and The Elder Scrolls are notorious time sinks where you get lost in worlds only to realize the person you're living with not only cooked supper and you missed it, but it's light out again, and you haven't gotten an hour of sleep.

im ~5'2" and ~80 lbs

So this is why everyone wants to see you. But 80 lbs? Have Ceta teach you joint locks. 80 lbs and you'll never win a fight you get into without having some great locking skills or a weapon, but weapons are more often equal opportunity than people would like them to be. And, given your height, you'd make a great target, so you can expect it to potentially happen.

oh i am a ghost ask anybody

You're bringing back old memories I have of an old club I had back on the original gametalk. It didn't last long, but it ended up having 4 members of people who died in "an RP" on one of the pokemon boards. Most likely i'm the only one here from that group, though.

For the same reason you loose track of time: world building.

With minecraft, you build the world, especially when online with others. You start with next to nothing, then build and build until you have a massive castle with machinery that do all sorts of cooking and such for you. Great stuff.

With The Elder Scrolls, it's like a second life. You are a being that magically gets stronger and better at everything you do simply by doing it for a little bit, and before long you're basically better than everyone around you. Meanwhile, you basically try to live a life in these worlds, while catastrophes are happening. In one of the games' DLCs, you literally become a god. In one of the games, you are the reincarnation of a man who decended to godhood (even if you choose to play female XD). The worlds are so alive, with secrets and mysteries as well. People are still making youtube videos trying to explain an events from a game that was released back when the original gametalk was still around. Great stuff.

Your weakness is your weight. You can't really punch hard, because your punching power primarily comes from your body weight. I'm ~280, so with your ~80, I have 200 extra pounds of dead weight. Now, don't get me wrong, i'd be an unrealistic opponent, but that's 200 pounds of force to send you somewhere else. I could probably curl you with one hand, and i'm not an exercise buff. Your primary protection will come from weapons (especially blades, since people will want to get in close on you if they're going to attack you at all, to take advantage of your light weight) and locks. You're not going to have much punching and kicking power against a realistic opponent (~180). If they can pick you up, you can't even punch with ~80 pounds of force, because you have to be able to move your hips, which you can't do if they have ahold of you or are pushing you outside of your reach. Your primary targets are not going to be their head or body, which most people naturally target, which would be your advantage. Your main target would likely be the wrists, biceps, and go for throat and eyes if they get close (even a light poke is enough, usually).

pleasant memories?

Mostly. As the group fell apart (everyone kinda went their own ways) things didn't go well (not bad or horrible, but not ideal, either). But, for the duration of the group in it's haydays, absolutely wonderful.

If my computer didn't suck so much, me and a buddy would've tried an experiment we had in mind for trying to teach a langauge quickly and effectively. I was able to do a similar experiment in the real world and was able to get a guy speaking a language he's never spoken before, without even using english or any language other than the one i was teaching him, within 10 minutes. Best part? He didn't even realize he was doing it until i told him.

3 (morrowind), 4 (oblivion), and 5 (skyrim) are the recommended ones. Online is totally different, and the other games are just, nope.

i dont reallt want to hurt anyone that all sounds p violent. i mean i guess thats the point but idk im just p used to losing i think it's okay i am meant fo rit

It's one thing to take a beating from a buddy. It's another thing if someone's trying to take your money or worse. The idea, too, is that if you can defend yourself, you're also less likely to be targeted by people who want to hurt you to pick on you. Instead of having to be violent, you just hurt people once and they're more likely to leave you alone. People prefer targets that give them what they want, but have the least chance of hurting them in return. So, if you want to mug someone for money, you're most likely going to mug the short one who looks unarmed, because they're the least likely people to be able to defend themselves. You're probably not going to mug big bad John, Jake the snake, or that bouncer over there, because why take the hard route when the easier target is right there and much less risky (especially when you don't even know if big bubba has more money). As a result, you're prime target for more than just a friendly picking on. This is why you must learn how things work. I don't learn martial arts with the goal of going around kicking peoples' rear ends, i learn martial arts with the goal of protecting myself and that which is mine (especially including my family).

im glad the memories are mostly nice :) im sorry that it fell apart kind of umpleasantly though...

It requires their cooperation, but I assure you, it really does work (it's based on alot of stories that i've heard of people learning lanagues quickly). In theory, though, it works just as good in minecraft. My buddy was supposed to try teaching me Dutch using this method. Unfortunately, that can't happen while he's playing ESO and i can't even play minecraft because my computer's CPU can't handle it.

The thing to remember, though, is that it's not the whole language. But, it gets your foot in the door, and your pronunciation is much better than with traditional learning methods that people pay for. This could be done for, realistically, free.
