There's gold in them thar hills -- gravitational waves from neutron stars
Posted: Posted October 17th, 2017 by The Fly

Well hallelujah, they've finally confirmed detection of gravitational waves from neutron stars (not black holes), which do radiate light, after it was thought that an initial detection was in dispute. This here is a nice 3 minute video giving us a quick run of what they found --- including gold and the explanation of how heavy elements had their genesis.

Have fun,
The Fly

You see Isaac Newton? That's why your attic escapades didn't work. If only he knew how alchemy REALLY works!

Wish I could take multiple earths worth of gold home.

But then gold literally becomes cheaper than dirt! Cause well... you now got more gold than dirt.
