Mayweather v. McGregor

Opinions? I feel like McGregor got robbed with that TKO ruling.

There are 6 Replies

He was out on his feet for 3 rounds, and couldn't even lift his arms to fight back; if he was getting a second wind, he would've gotten it already. Ref called it at the right time.

Fair enough. I just feel like he could have gone a little longer. He didn't appear to be out quite yet to me, but eh.

It was a decent fight IMO. Went on longer than I expected.

Some one was telling me that Mayweather didnt bother training for this fight. Over all it was an alright fight.

I would like to see Mayweather in a MMA fight now. There was a couple of times I expected Mcgregor to do a take down lol. Glad I didnt pay to watch this.

Yeah I might need to see a replay as I was watching my friend livestream it via FB group call, lmao.

I watched it on a live stream on instagram lol wasnt too bad of a watch quality wise. All things considered I would like to see Mcgregor go up against some other boxers other than Mayweather.

Him vs Pacman would be a fun fight to watch.

But I forget how boring boxing is sometimes.

Alot of my friends were betting on McGregor winning since Mayweather was not taking it seriously. But experience always pulls through as evident by this fight. By round 6-7 McGregor had used up a lot of energy and that sealed his fate.

I expect the two to grab a beer and be good friends after this.

Mayweather has a very disciplined approach to fights that causes them to look closer than they really were. He causes for his opponent to be the aggressor in the early rounds, and tends to give ground on the score cards there, while gradually opening up as the fight progresses.

The condition of the two fighters at the end of things should indicate how close it actually was.
