Some small games are still being trickled in here and there through Treehouse but we all know the big announcements by now. So which one was your favorite? Which one disappointed you?

(I'm only going over gameplay because it's hard for me to judge a CG trailer other than saying "yeah... that looked nice"

I can't believe I'm saying this but Mario + Rabbids is legit something I'd probably play a lot of. What a weird, dumb, fantastic little game they showed off. Other than that I really like how God of War is shaping up to be. It seems like it's going to focus more on a personal, relationship building narrative that I am all about. Also Mario Oddysey is going to be fanfuckingtastic.

Other games that I liked: Metro, Wolfenstein, Xenoblade, Need For Speed (no joke),Lawbreakers, Tunic (side note: check out Tunic) and Way Out.

As far as disappointments go I really wouldn't call this a disappointment because it never sunk it's hooks into me in the first place, but can someone who likes Days Gone tell me what it's like? Being excited for it, that is. The game does absolutely nothing for me. A real disappointment, besides then entirety of E3 not living up to last year, is probably Spider-Man. I'm going to play it, and I'm probably going to like it, but QTEs bum me out.

Other games that I wanted to like more but couldn't: Anthem.

Everything from Nintendo because I'm a political radical partisan fanboy of that video game party. Fills aime 2020! I think that he would beat trump easily.

Ok I don't want to derail this post so don't add on to what I just said guys/gals.

Haven't looked at most of the conferences. In terms of third party, beyond good and evil 2, and that dragon ball fighters game looks interesting.
For 1st party, hmm I Dunno. Xenoblade and Odyssey look pretty cool, but rabbids was like the surprise one for me(though I probably won't buy it). The metroid remake on 3ds looks amazing though and I might buy it. Other than that, my mist hyped game is prob MP4, which wasn't even shown. Lol

Going to exclude Ori because they didn't show the game, they just announced it with a lovely trailer.

For me it was possibly Battlefront 2. Having all three eras in one game is going to be awesome. I really liked the look of the new battlepoints system that replaces the stupid starcard pickups- in many ways it's very reminiscent of how you earned the hero during the old Battlefront 2. Whoever had the most kills got first pick... I definitely would prefer vehicles were entities on the map, but I totally get why they're trying to avoid that & that it doesn't work with how some of their maps dynamically spawn you in different places depending on where the enemy is.

Mario & Rabbids was a surprise, I don't know what I expected but I didn't expect xcom. When they eventually have enough games for me to justify a Switch I'll definitely try that game. (By which I mean where the heck is Smash, that + MK8D alone would give me plenty of playtime on the console).

A Way Out looked pretty cool too.

Anthem I just need to see more of. I liked what I saw, it was a nice tease, but come on lets get some solid details on it.

Everything that resonated me were essentially just teases of sequels, prequels and a remake. Metroid Prime 4 (even though I'm ecstatic that Metroid is returning, I do wish they'd move on from Prime), Beyond Good and Evil 2, Life Is Strange: Before The Storm, Shadow of the Colossus. Ori & the Will of the Wisps probably tops that. Don't know why I never expected a sequel to The Blind Forest, but I'm over the moon to see Ori making a return. Trailer already hit me right in the feels (once you play the first game, you'll know why). Also, The Last Night was by far and away my favourite indie game shown.

For gameplay, God of War is shaping up to be something both epic in scale and a personal journey with high stakes; combat seems to flow very nicely. Battlefront 2 is the game we should've had the first time around, but I'm just happy we're finally seeing the return of the clone wars. I've been waiting for something like DBZ Fighters since the Budokai series ended. Still can't wait for Shadow of War(dor). Far Cry 5 looks like it could be the fresh take the series desperately needs after FC4 and Primal. Wolfenstein is fucking bananas, and I appreciate that.

Spidey looks alright, I guess? Just gave the vibe of a faster Arkham with more QTEs. Anthem could have potential, but so far doesn't extend beyond looking pretty.

I'm on the fence with Mario+Rabbids and Odyssey. Still don't know if the Rabbids team up is particularly appealing to me, and I just don't like the aesthetic behind Odyssey's New Donk City.
