I definitely don't want to do this right now, but I will definitely need to revamp the auto-actions file at some point (it's a big mess right now). When I do, I'd like to introduce this change, let me know what you think:

  • Auto Actions can belong to "groups"

  • Those groups can be enabled/disabled entirely for a game

  • Those groups can have their own actions limit instead of using a "Number of auto-actions" globally for all auto-actions.

So for example, this would let you give people infinite movement but let them only loot/take items from the room twice per round.

Or you could do something where they can give or take items freely but could only try to steal once per round. And could move no more than 4 times.

Basically it would allow a lot of flexibility in how you handle auto-actions. Also groups would show up in separate sections like how manual actions/recover stealth show up in separate sections right now.

Note that action limits would still work the same way -- you could have there be both global settings and character-specific settings.

Also would like to introduce a "normal" setting so that events would work better with auto-actions..

for example a character could have 2 auto actions but their "normal" was 4.. then there could be an event that would restore them to 4 auto-actions. Or they could maybe interact with an energy machine and get 6 auto-actions per turn but restoration machines would return them to 4.
