Switched back to Firefox
Posted: Posted February 14th by Vandy

Man, does this feel great. I used to use Firefox as my default browser many years ago. For some reason I switched to Chrome and have been using it for several years. I noticed it was using a lot of power on my laptop so I decided to try Firefox instead, and I just feel ... clean. Like I stepped out of the shower and fresh! I forgot how customizable this browser is.

I haven't uninstalled Chrome yet because I occasionally cast things to the chromecast on my TV. Is there any way to do that from Firefox? If so I'll destroy chrome completely.

I find chrome works better with Google play and YouTube (which makes sense now that I think about it).

You might give this a shot if you have Firefox for Android:

It also looks like this might be a feature with Firefox for Android Only:

Welcome Back to the fold. I kept using Firefox myself for the longest time but seen strange things along the ride (such as for some reason youtube would bug out and not load videos for me or lock up the video when Chrome Did not).

Yeah I get this too, unless the video is embedded (like the stream feature here works perfectly fine). Weird! Or maybe not, considering Google owns Youtube...
