THIS ISN'T PG!
Royal Rumble

The Royal Rumble was quite enjoyable...The one thing lacking was Kenny Omega...Okay, well the Rumble match itself was somewhat "dry", shall I say...

It did however, build nicely for the Road to Wrestlemania...

Cena, if media is to believe will drop the title to Bray at Elimination Chamber, leading to Orton V Bray...I would enjoy that...

Not hugely impressed with Samoa Joe on Raw, never really cared for him...Great wrestler, but character always lacked a little something I feel...But said feelings aside, he is a good in ring worker...which validates my next point...

Balor Vs Joe somewhere down the line will be a good match...I like the direction WWE is going at present, hopefully Bobby Roode will be brought into RAW before Summer Slam...An ideal Paul Heyman "guy" for when Brock takes a hiatus...

Joe could also fill that void I guess, in fact, may be better suited to the role...I do not think highly of either of their characters...But, with Heyman at the front, then, they could really build some heat...

Overall pleased with WWE, probably cruiserweights division could do with a lot of work still, but Neville is helping the cause...Tag Team divisions are still pointless and obviously too many PPV...

Wrestling quality has picked up, but both SD! and RAW could do with more matches...

Indeed...

Good to see your name again gambito. I don't believe we have ever talked but I remember reading lots of your posts on Mike's GameTalk. Feral is around here somewhere.

My sister went to San Antonio for this year's rumble. Seemed like she had a lot of fun. She's a big fan of Sasha Banks, always trying to get me to watch replays of her matches with Charlotte. She tried to see Sasha at a autograph signing at Cricket Wireless but there were apparently too many people so she didn't get to. :\

I've since lost most interest in WWE. The three-hour shows don't help. Far too long to hold my interest. I watch a lot of MMA now, though. Are you a fan?

Hello Vandy...Yes, a fan of UFC, Pride, Bellator etc..

Well, when I say fan, I probably sway more towards UFC...

I have watched the others, but they do not hold as much interest...

McGregor obviously is the big draw at the moment and I really like him...However, I hope the Mayweather fight does not come to fruition, as I think that will be one step too far for him...

But yes, I do watch UFC as often as I can...Boxing also I am a big fan of, well outside of the Heavyweights for obvious reasons...i.e. Apart from Joshua and maybe Wilder there is no real talent...

Shannon Briggs is always fun though...

Yeah, Mcgregor is definitely fun to watch. His road to fighting Aldo was crazy. Then the thirteen-second KO. I was glad that he lost to Diaz, to bring him down a bit. Not that I dislike him or hope for him to fail, but to check his ego, I guess. It's always interesting to see how the top stars deal with a loss. And he handled it just about as well as you could expect. I'm really hoping for Khabib to beat Ferguson and get to fight Mcgregor by the end of the year. Khabib vs Mcgregor would be great.

Also really looking forward to the rematch with Woodley and Wonderboy. That was a FOTY contender for me.

Middleweight has a lot going on, too. Bisping, Weidman, Rockhold, Romero, Jacare ... all top contenders, and I feel like any of them could beat any of the others. I'm most interested in Rockhold's next fight, if he can get and stay healthy. Couldn't believe it when he got KO'd by Bisping.

Oh, and Cormier/Johnson 2! With Jones likely making a return later in the year. So many interesting stories going on right now.

The only news that matters right now is that Io Shirai is likely signing with the WWE and Hojo already has. Fun times ahead for mainstream fans that haven't seen anything of either.

And yes, this is the real me, has been quite funny popping on here every once in a while to see posts from somebody pretending to be me.

Hope you're all well guys.

Hello, JP...Nice to see you are still active...

Hope all is well your end also...It's nights like this I yearn for the old gametalk days...However, we all grow up and advance in our endeavours...

I tip my hat to you JP, you and I had many a good/great night pushing our opinions...

Looking back, it is great to see I was correct on all...But, you did give me some enjoyable battles...

Also, hello to team groin...I do remember you for sure...Hope all is well with you also...

Any of you guys looking forward to Mayweather/McGregor? I for one am, Hopefully Mayweather will defeat McGregor, but, you can not help but like McGregor...

But, Mayweather is always going to win this 50-0...Look, both will get a huge payday, sure, it will harm the sport of boxing somewhat, and maybe UFC depending on McGregors performance...

Yet, if McGregor does put up a good show, UFC will skyrocket and the real winners will be Dana et al...

I like UFC and boxing, but boxing really needs a boost, Joshua is as boring as a wooden plank, nothing personally against the guy, but no showmanship...

The whole showman seems to be gone from top class boxing, McGregor oozes personality, Matt Hardy has it, Paul Heyman has it, John Cena has it, Wonderboy has it...Kenny Omega...etc, etc, etc,

Just some examples, boxing has...

Tyson Fury...

Shannon Briggs...

It needs a Mayweather again, even if it is only for one more fight...

This is going to be awesome...

Also, I mentioned Matt Hardy, Broken obviously, his current, extreme, not so much...Dont get me started on Jeff...

oh dear, Jeff...

Never rated him, ever...Sure he does the flips, but his personality is void...He could have some great matches =, would love to see him v Omega, but his character is forced and wooden, I know it is an extension of his real personality, but it is all so...

Well...90's...

Anyway, I am rambling...

Indeed...
