Really trying to avoid anything Andromeda right now. Want to go in as fresh as possible, with as few expectations as I can manage.

My co-worker has been talking about it though, so it's been tough.

Hope the animation is just placeholder / in-development stuff. The facial animation during the scene starting at 1:25 is a trainwreck. Especially during the 'disarming'.

Pleasantly surprised at the lack of cover-based combat shown and the emphasis on maneuverability. It really does look like a solid mix between ME1 and ME3.

Beginning to reach the same point as Jet, though. Will probably ease off on what I'm reading and watching of Andromeda now, even though I know it'll be bloody difficult. God damn, that hub world in the trailer...

Yeah, it's still got those typical BioWare animations (even that default conversational pose where they cross their arms and lean back on a leg!). Fingers crossed that they're touched up before release.

Still not really willing to show us any new aliens are they. Hopefully that's just them holding back for us to explore on release.

I'm done with the trailers though, I've seen everything I need to in order to confirm I'll buy it and I do want to avoid the inevitable spoilers that'll come from trailers closer to launch.

Oh but I did see this one earlier today. Has some interesting lore about the Ark ships and the Nexus (essentially a citadel for this new galaxy)

Bioware has mentioned that they want to make some of the choices more gray, instead of so black and white. And I hope they're able to, because most of the choices in the original series tended to fall on one side or the other, rarely falling in the middle.

I think it would be even better if some of the seemingly "better" choices had worse consequences later on.

They've gotten rid of the whole Paragon/Renegade feature too, which I think will really benefit the "grey" area and make the player think harder about their choices (as opposed to gravitating towards a colour or location on the dialogue wheel).
