So I cleared a number of episodes tonight. I am now on 10.

Really digging the show. Thought the premise was stupid but it started to grow on me. reminds me a lot of hunter x hunter and dbz.

After String Player Gamer did a cover of the main theme I ended up reading about the premise of it and the story sounded kinda interesting, but I've never gotten around to watching it because there's too much I am already trying to watch/catch up with.

watched the Toonami airing of it, thought it was p entertaining. I do find it kinda hard to get into something where fights seem like a foregone conclusion, though. I mean, it's one thing that you can usually assume that the good guy will win because he's the hero, but it's different when it's also because he's insanely ridiculously strong.

OPM is pretty good.

OPM isn't about the fights. Or, more precisely, OPM is only about the fights inasmuch as they have import to the personality of the characters.

right, and that's probably why I was able to enjoy it. I didn't know what the premise of the show was ahead of time (why he's called One Punch Man, basically), and upon learning it I was iffy about watching it. But seeing it in action, I was able to appreciate what it did. If another season happens I'd be up for it.

"If another season happens I'd be up for it."

A second season was actually announced a few weeks ago. It's supposed to air in 2017.

It took me a few episodes to get into it, but really enjoyed it after I did. Saitama vs Mosquito was absolutely hilarious. And then there's totally tanking that punch to the head from the Deep Sea King...

The creator's other work Mob Psycho 100 is quite solid as well.
