can my favorite mod sticky this?

I wrapped up Titan Fall 2 this past Wednesday. Fun game. Solid and tight controls when playing as a Pilot. The game takes it a step backwards when piloting a titan. It does not feel like I am piloting a large, massive, clunky machine. The titan controls are much more fluid and agile. In comparison in titan fall 1 it feels like you are piloting a tank. Which I much prefer as these are giant clunky robots. Oh well.

I did not touch the multiplayer for this game. The single player was a great addition. I dont think its an amazing gem of a game like every one made it out to be but it is worth the $10 price tag I paid for it. Over all Titan Fall 1> Titan Fall 2.

I am wrapping up God of War. I poured some hours into it last night. The back tracking in this game is a pain in the ass. I do not feel like continuing forward. (took a 2 month Hiatus off this game due to work) But I want to see the out come. So far it is a good game but imo it is nowhere near as grand as people made it out to be. It is not the sole reason one should Pick up a PS4. Granted all of the PS4 exclusives bundled together are the best reason to pick up a PS4 if you were on the fence about it.

I hop onto Halo 5 for some fiesta fun or MCC when I get an hour or two to play. I really, really hope that fiesta modes are a permanent part of the next Halo when it launches.

If my brother is online I will play PUBG with him. As janky as the game is, the survivalist experience is still fun to play with a partner. We got our second duo win last night, after playing for almost a full year. I have 10 wins total.

I don't have time to invest in a story-driven single-player game right now. I bought Dishonored 2 a few months ago but I don't plan to play it until I am out of school.

Why is it all you can play? Isn't it easier to hop on for an hour or two for some multiplayer matches opposed to a 20-hour story?

I dont have pay for playstation live. And I find that I am terrible now at multiplayer games. Keep in mind I am living with my sibilings so multiple netflix accounts are streaming shows at any given time. I also have to mention the fact that I am not interested in any multiplayer games.

When I game I try to schedule at minimum 2-4 hours. This is the case when It comes to reading and watching movies/ shows.

I can relate to that. 95% of the people playing online are much better than me because they probably play a lot more than me. I have to resort to playing really conservatively and sometimes resort to camping techniques. But I simply don't have the skill to play aggressively. This is why I like Fiesta modes in Halo so much because weapon spawns are random. Give someone rockets or a sword and the playing field is even. Games are surprisingly even, too.

and unfortunately that skill takes time to develop. I found my self struggling in the mercenary game mode of resident evil 4 when I played it last. As a kid I could clear a stage with 5/6 stars (what ever the max was) as an adult I am lucky enough to get 2 lol

Still wrapping up Ni no Kuni. Boy is that game a slog.

Trying to replay old Spider-man games, too. Nearly done with Shattered Dimensions. Will either do Web of Shadows or Ultimate Spider-man next. And maybe do Blue Dragon next for my RPG slot.

Playing through BotW still. Started Red Dead 2 but am not that far into it. Am also playing Dying Light when the mood hits me. Will expand on this a bit later. Right now I'm at this event called "Big Adventure" and I just saw Patton Oswalt.

I just finished god of war. (I saw the hidden ending on youtube after killing a Valkyrie pretty neat!) Good game. I do feel it was over hyped and dragged on ast times with all the back tracking.

Cons: Frustrating Menu System, Frustrating Fast Travel, Lack of Enemy Variety, I dont believe the game rewards you or entices you to try out different load outs. (Kept the same special attacks for pretty much the whole game) Back tracking galore.

Pros: Fun gameplay, Good story, good characters, beautiful environments, phenomenal voice acting. Amazing sound. (Really wish I had a sorround sound system. Kratos Punches just sound so real)

This game has some of the best fight segments that I ve ever seen in a video game. The opening fight the first hour in is amazing. You can hear and feel bones breaking, ribs cracking. Superb experience!

Ultimately it is a good game. Extremely over hyped and far from Sonys best exclusive. (TLOU please) But this is a game every PS4 owner should get. I dont think any one should run out to buy a Ps4 just to play this one exclusive but if multiple games interest you and this catches your eye as well, pull the fucking trigger you wont regret it.

^it's just a brief little prologue, but yeah. Interesting expansion on Undertale's battle system, still some good chuckles in there.

I completed Dragon Quest XI the other day, so I'm back to focusing on Octopath Traveler. Oh, and I should go back and finish Mega Man 11 when I have a chance; I left off at Wily Castle and had to take a break.

Posted November 4th, 2018 by Pirate_Ninja

Been completing battles in Bungo Stray Dogs: Tales of the Lost. I haven't looked to see if there more. There were also Hard Battles and then Very Hard battles. So, I'm quite in love with this game. Trying to find a great team of SSR characters is annoying because there's always that one favorite character you can never seem to get *coughChuyacough* when everyone else has it.

Anyway, also started a playthrough of BOTW. I got bored waiting for more lives (AP) guage to fill up in my mobile game. Didn't get far. Got to the Bomb Trial.

But, by the end of the year, most of time will be spent on Pokemon Let's Go: Eevee! I'm excited. I don't really know what to expect honestly. I haven't watched any other trailers except for the first one on direct.

Yeah, I kinda totally love the dynamic of a third party member you can't control.

Posted November 5th, 2018 by Jet Presto

Spiderman PS4, which I haven't even touched in about 6 weeks...

Prior to that, I sunk 100+ hours into Octopath Traveler, beat all the individual stories, then got to the true final boss and promptly decided to fuck right off after my first attempt.

I still need to finish Octopath Traveler.

I still need to play Octopath. I played the Prologue for all 3 hours that I could. Though since I'm going through Red Dead, Zelda, AND Dying Light before Smash Ultimate even comes out I gotta finish those first as best I can (but I'll be amazed if I can finish 2 of them). I don't see me playing Octopath until maybe mid-2019 due to Smash, really. With Zelda I feel like I'm pretty near the end, but I still haven't played the DLC. I have like 25 shrines left but they are all pretty hidden ones that can't be seen right out in the open. I also have 2 divine beasts left as well.

Edited November 6th, 2018 by Fox Forever

I've been trying to finish off Dragon Quest Builders as the sequel has been announced for the West. Never gotten into a Dragon Quest it Minecraft-esque game as much as this but its really kept me interested despite how brutal it cam be at times.

I need to get the Spider-Man DLC soon, then I'll have Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Smash Bros after. I may get to Smash Bros after. May get the Spyro trilogy, haven't decided yet.

Picking up Nightshade (visual novel) on the Switch when it comes out on the 20th as my last game of the year. It looks beautiful. I’m hyped for Trails of Cold Steel next year x.x gaaaah, so excited. I think after that I’ll get Tales of Vesperia on the switch before Trails of Cold Steel 2 comes out. 2019 is looking good for Switch games. A bunch of indie titles have been released and I have no interest in them.

Still playing Persona 4, also playing Heart Gold, Corpse Party (PSP), and some classic snes mario games. I have found that modern AAA titles just don't really do it for me right now. Although I do have Smash 5, Zelda BOTW, Mario Odyssey and I have yet to play any of them because my hackable switch is still in the mail and I don't want to open my Smash themed switch which is sitting right beside me. lol It's such a beautiful machine and box.

In the new year I will be playing KH3 and Birth By sleep as I am heavy into the psp and vita scene now and I have a fully hacked Vita with 256 gb micro sd.

I picked Pokémon Crystal last Monday and put at least 14 hours so far. I’d like to pick up Pokémon Yellow and play that again but I’m broke at the moment. I don’t want to use my savings and it’s so tempting too. School’s expensive. :/ Have to wait till my next paycheck. Working part time sucks. I enjoy really short games for some reason.

Yeah, @Q and @I Killed Mufasa (that scene still tears me up ;_;), I’m in the same boat. I haven’t touched my Nintendo Switch and only recently have I found out that some games won’t be savable via the switch cloud. Lol, good bye hours spent on Pokémon Let’s Go. I actually started disliking that game more and more, but I liked that we could see them on the world map. However, I hated the fact that battling random Pokémon was a no. Lol @ at money wasted at UltraBalls.

I recently picked up SEGA Genesis Classics on the Switch and it's pretty good. It's very similar to Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection that came out in 2009 and has most of the same games which may be good or bad depending on how you look at it. However there is the ability to rewind gameplay and apply many different settings that have been added. Also, it's great to be able to take it on the go or lay in bed.

So i'd say if you guys miss some old school games then pick this game up, it's on the PC, X1 and PS4 also.

first and foremost Metal Jesus does indeed rock. I've been watching his videos for a while.

Second, I did see this but it comes with half of the amount of games as the console versions and you need a seperate Bluetooth controller for the firestick.

I do like the idea of older games being released on smart tv's and other device but I still think consoles and PC's will still give the best gaming experience.

Yeah $10,000 is alot to fix water and mold damage. I tend to watch John Hancock and Rerez as they do good reviews of consoles and games as well.

I guess if you dont already own a current gen console.

"Idk I feel this will be pretty Niche. Lord knows I would jump on this idea for older games. Like yes I have access to them on my vita or 3ds but small screens strain my eyes now. "

Have you used a Switch that much? It's larger screen is just big enough to be good for playing most games. Though there are times I have to squint to see some things in Skyrim.

BTW - I've recently been getting back into play games on my 3DS since I don't have alot of time to devote to console gaming anymore. I forget how capable the little system is.

The issue with the 3ds line is that it still gives me hand cramps. I've tried all those systems and the vita too. Same story for each lol. Maybe my hands aren't maxe for portables.

I pickrd up blood borne. At this point I am not sure if I beat it or if I'm confusing it with another souls game. They have all blurred into one now. The clunky controls and and camera angles have been the death of me.

I've also noticed some serious slow times. I was have expecting to roll into blighttown

I've had an issue with the Vita too. It was too uncomfortable to hold, even with my small hands. 3DS XL fits better and I think I said something similar with the Switch. I'm getting thumb cramps in my left hand after a long period of time.

As for my next game, I plan on picking up Pokemon Yellow again. :/

I caved and picked up Spiderman. It is a fun game. Ive never been a huge fan of him out side of the Raimi movies. (I've been using the raimi suit only it is the perfect suit) I like it more than the arkham games but there are plenty of cons in this game.

I detest the sections where you have to play as MJ or Miles, (not sure if I have to play as aunt may later on) having to track down towers to unlock sections of the map is down right annoying. It is 2018 developers really need to stop with this crap. (Botw is the only acceptable exception) there are a lot of meaningless side activities. The backpacks are a fun addition but I don't really care to do anything else outside of beating up bad guys.

It is a fun beautiful game. The story is okay so far. I got it on sale and it is worth tbe price I paid. ($40)

Played some Sea of Thieves last night. I really love something about the game.

I used the Xbox LFG page and met up with a younger kid to sloop (duo) with. While we were doing our own quests we came upon a larger ship. My partner wanted to befriend and subsequently betray them but after meeting one of their members and liking him, I convinced my partner that we should form an alliance with them instead and not betray. (In SoT you can form an alliance with other ships by raising certain flags, then when you sell anything the gold is split between all members of the alliance). We ended up completing a skeleton fort together.

There are skeleton forts around the map and when one becomes active a skull cloud appears above it, inviting anyone to come and partake. Once there you have to fight many rounds of skeletons, and when complete the central room opens up with all of the loot to take. We were fortunate that no one else came for the loot, but sometimes ships will wait for you to do all of the fighting and then swoop in to steal all of the goods. We ended up cashing it all in for about 15K, which is a good haul.

Here is a clip of when we met with the other crew member:
https://streamable.com/5pz93
Random encounters like this really make the game what it can be. Players have total control over what happens, and you never know how it will go down.

I think from an overall design perspective, I'd argue that the three main Arkham games are better. (I might put Spider-man on par with Arkham Knight.) But, I found Spider-man to be a more *fun* experience overall.

I agree that there are plenty of cons, and that yeah, there are design elements that feel very dated. Namely, the boring, tedious, mindless sidequests in the open world sandbox. I've been doing a Spider-man retrospective series (finished Spider-man 2, Web of Shadows, and Shattered Dimensions; currently playing Amazing Spider-man) and it's weird how this is a staple of Spidey games at this point. The only real difference between this one and the past Spider-man games, to me, is that the game plays so nicely and I found traversal and combat to themselves be super fun that I didn't mind anywhere near as much as past games, where web-slinging and combat were both kind of clunky.
