just pointing out that born-again christians can be some of the cruelest pieces of shit out there (aside from nazi fucks like you)

That was poptarts reply (which is still up). Attack on Christians. Personal attack on me (nazi fuck) post remains untagged.

my response :

Good, keep it coming. Show a little testosterone for once, soyboy.

I call him a "soyboy" and that gets removed.

What gives?

Ya honestly not sure I see a reason for this bias even if #85 does come off as liking specifically nazi stuff at times.

I don't care that I was called a "nazi fuck" ultimatley, but I should be allowed to give an equal response.

poptart's reply has some kind of substance to it outside of encouraging drama. poptart actually contributed something to the conversation, however minuscule. I will, however, warn poptart for his inflammatory language.

@poptart: please refain from referring to other users with phrases like "Nazi fuck".

Good enough for now.

nazi is an offensive slur

Should he instead refer to you as "ethnic fascist/white nationalist sympathizer"? More accurate and less emotional that way.

That would be closer to accurate. There is already some precedent against using pejoratives when "trannie" wasnt allowed in one of my post titles. (I had never heard this considered a slur before, but I don't frequent certain SJW crowds that seem to dictate these things)

Well, I would love to keep this a safe space for my white brothers, so no-one gets to call you a Nazi anymore. If you want to go ahead and list all your other preferred pronouns and trigger words so I can ban anyone that hurts your feelings, that would be great.

In all seriousness, though, I don't know who tagged the tranny post and personally I wouldn't have. I would have just pointed out that "-y" was the usual spelling instead of "-ie".

I don't judge on offensiveness, I judge on offensiveness compared to post effort. The post you made included a derisive term and was also a one-line post with no content but encouragement of drama.

About "soyboy" itself: I love it. I use the word in real life and on GameTalk. The difference is that I rarely direct it at a specific person and it's used as a little spice on top of an actual post.

Do you have any other concerns?

How is "Nazi" a slur? I mean it was the literal name of the Nazi party during Nazi Germany. I could understand if you get offended to be called such a thing because you feel there is a distinction.

Tranny/Trannie is a shortened term people used when referring to transvestites (I am very much unclear if transvestites hate the shortened term or not). Transsexuals don't like when the term gets used to refer to them because it's a completely different thing (to say that they are not the gender they feel they are but instead are just people who like to play "dress up") so to them it is a slur against transsexuals.

Fairly sure they only officially referred to themselves as national socialists and as the national socialist party. Or the national socialist german workers' party. I could be wrong but pretty sure that's how it was.

It was actually derisive, not that I care.

The term "Nazi" derives from the name given in German to a party member Nationalsozialist and was coined in response to the German term Sozi, an abbreviation of Sozialdemokrat (member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany). Members of the party referred to themselves as Nationalsozialisten (National Socialists), rarely as Nazis. The term Parteigenosse (party member) was commonly used among Nazis, with the feminine form Parteigenossin used when it was appropriate.

The term was in use before the rise of the party as a colloquial and derogatory word for a backward peasant, characterising an awkward and clumsy person. It derived from Ignaz, being a shortened version of Ignatius, a common name in Bavaria, the area from which the Nazis emerged. Opponents seized on this and shortened the party's name in intentional association to the long-time existing Sozi to the dismissive "Nazi".

In 1933, when Adolf Hitler assumed power of the German government, usage of the designation "Nazi" diminished in Germany, although Austrian anti-Nazis continued to use the term derogatorily. The use of "Nazi Germany" and "Nazi regime" was popularised by anti-Nazis and German exiles abroad. Thereafter, the term spread into other languages and eventually was brought back to Germany after World War II.

Is this sarcasm? I can't even tell anymore.

Well, I used the terms "safe space", "preferred pronouns" and "trigger words" in one paragraph and began the next paragraph with "seriously, though". If you can't tell that's sarcasm, I think it would be best for you to bow out of the conversation.

Go fuck yourself. You know exactly what I mean, but once again you're trying to throw me under the bus when it's convenient for you. I see you talking to me in a condescending way, but this is your fault not mine for being willfully confusing plenty of times. How you mean to say something different than what would be obvious at first glance.

Knowing you the "seriously though" part could have easily just meant "I was serious about the last part but I don't actually want the other users to realize that" or "I was somewhat serious about that but here is what I am entirely serious about".

Safe space is a word I could definitely see you using unironically at the right time, as are preferred pronouns.

Correct about what you posted about the term "Nazi".

In terms of the post, nothing further to add. Thanks for the clarification.

Thank you for working with me a bit. I really think that you are capable of bringing something to this site when you get past the low-effort insults. I don't want you to fall into petty squabbling - that's a good way to get people to reduce you and your arguments to easily-dismissable drama. I understand that it gets irritating here, but I think you can see far enough ahead to realize why being savage with people, while satisfying, isn't the healthiest thing for your points (regardless of how factual or logical they are).

I appreciate it. You are right. Sometimes my intent might be a quick jab shitpost, but other times I feel I can respond sufficiently without a walloftext. I can see how the two share some overlap and will work on putting more "effort" to avoid confusion. Very reasonable of you.

Attack with substance and truth: valid argument, no matter how abrasive.

Ad hominem: logical fallacy. No matter how innocuous, just serves to insult and demean, and serves no greater purpose.

For instance, calling Trump an idiot is an ad hominem attack. It just serves to insult and demean. But calling Trump an idiot because of his improper handling of North Korea's nuclear program is a justified insult. Back this up with facts, perhaps make a comparison to the reaction of NK's program from other world leaders, explain how Trump's response is not constructive, and you can form a solid argument to completely justify Trump being an idiot.

When have I ever *not* complied with the site?

You on the other hand....

Attack with substance and truth: valid argument, no matter how abrasive.

I've established several times (and usually I just ignore it all together because it is so tiresome clarifying) I am not a National Socialist. So "nazi fuck" isn't substantive, truthful, or valid.
