Some people on 4chan's music board have noted that the style is somewhat reminiscent of Nazi cinematographer Leni Riefenstahl's statuesque posing, imperious low angles and volkisch appeal.



But both observations are merely stylistic at this point. It's kind of incredible to see people with no real intellectual tools for parsing media critically try to articulate the shadow of an implied emotion that they feel engendered by completely innocuous images.

I can see that.

What's hilarious to me is that the word "woke" is used to refer to these kinds of people.
