Should trump pay activision to make a call of duty Syria game, syriasly? Even more specific than “modern warfare”

Maybe that will help us win the war that er’re About to go into. I just want the terrosits dead and leave the rest safe. The atomic bulls killed so many people in the Hiroshima and Nagasaki attacks. We only needed to kill the emperor of Japan who planned the attack on Pearl Harbor, just like the ruler of North Korea is about to do to Uncle Sam.

Ever play COD: Black Ops 2?

Plenty of Middle-Eastern themed maps and turban-donning infidels to shoot up.

So many things wrong in this one statement.

We had to take control of the Japanese military because they were in “unconditional surrender”, meaning they would just keep on attacking. They didn’t surrender after the Hiroshima bombing so we had to send a second one to Nagasaki and then they gave up, thinking that we had more bombs that we could defuse on them but the fact was those were the only two atomic bomb that we had manufoctured.

My ap us history textbook said that we raped several Japanese women then at the concentration camps that we made but I don’t buy any of that bullshit.

No.

Unconditional Surrender - An unconditional surrender is a surrender in which no guarantees are given to the surrendering party. In modern times, unconditional surrenders most often include guarantees provided by international law. Announcing that only unconditional surrender is acceptable puts psychological pressure on a weaker adversary, but may also prolong hostilities. Perhaps the most notable unconditional surrender was by the Axis powers in World War II.

There were many things done on all sides of the war that were not right. Do as I did and look up those topics to verify what is said in your text books. text books have been known to be wrong but don't just assume they are wrong because you dont believe them.

they also was a third atomic bomb being readied for around august 15th, so there was more than two.

its my understanding that the united states had exhausted all of their atomic bombs after the bombing of both cities.

They had developed three bombs. One had been used for testing and the other two had been dropped over Japan.

Where did this 4th bomb come from?

Actually nevermind I just read up on it. It was still being manufacturee and had been deemed ready to use on the 15th. And set to be dropped on the 19th.

Pretty crazy stuff.

Also lmao @ weidman

I’m SUPER biased though because virtually all shooting games bore and/or frustrate me.

Huh. Why's that? What shooters have you played? Which ones did you like the most or least?

Just the well known ones. Halo, CoD, Gears of War (prob my favorite since you at least have the badass chainsaw option), Tom Clancy games, even Mass Effect has too much lobbing of lead chunks imo considering it’s supposed to be a futuristic sci fi adventure. Idk, I just don’t find the gameplay fun when there is little more to it than “shoot, duck for cover, shoot, duck for cover”, maybe with a sniper thrown in. Also doesn’t help that I don’t really like playing any games online and generally prefer single player; if a game doesn’t have a super immersive single player mode, I’m generally not interested lol. I don’t have anything against people whose favorite genre is FPS; just not my kind of video game. I’m more of an RPG/open world kind of gamer.

Old school FPS games are much more tolerable though, I will say.

Oh and I probably like Halo the least. Most overrated game franchise of my generation imo.

Don't let Arch hear you say that!

I haven't played a shooter in years, and yet about a decade ago it was most of what I was interested in and I invested in an Xbox 360 with online multiplayer in mind. Now I mostly play solitary old man RPGs. While my interests have shifted I still have an affection for Halo, particularly Halo 3.

I’ve seen Arch gush over the fascinating politics of Halo, and it could very well be true. I just never got past the (imo) boring, repetitive gameplay. But like I said, I am not a competitive online sort of gamer, so I am not at all the intended demographic of a game like Halo, despite having been a fat neckbeardy millenial teen when Halo 3 came out lol

I agree. I do recommend Halo 3 ODST though.

I also loved Spec Ops the Line. Granted if you loath generic 3 person shooter gameplay stay away. If you can bare it, you are in for a good treat.

Idk, it’s weird. Goldeneye for N64 is one of my favorite FPS games, yet there is nothing special about the gameplay aside from somehow being incredibly addicting. So I might give those a go if I get the chance, SOH.

This weekend I played that for the first time since about 2001. If you play it you can see it hasn't really aged well but there's still something fun about it. I think it's because it's a staple game. It's probably the first multiplayer 3D FPS. It's kind of like lightning in a jar. Not easy to replicate. I think nostalgia kept it feeling fun.
