Quirks Content Engine Update 4/18 (add multiple list entries, add captions to images, images expand and fill the screen)

This update expands the list capabilities of the Quirks Content engine.

Clone property

  • Adding the "clone" property allows that field to be duplicated. This works with images, input areas, text boxes, etc.

  • When you fill out a value (or copy+paste) and then click away, the next box appears. When you erase a box, it disappears. Pretty intuitive.

  • This then gets filled out in the list like you'd expect it to.

  • When you add pictures, whichever picture you added in last gets previewed.

  • At the bottom of this screen you'll see a big "Add captions" button. Click that, and:

  • You get an area where you can add captions to each image you've added.

  • Hovering over an image will show its caption at the bottom part of the image. Move your mouse away from it and the caption will disappear.

  • Click an image and it will take up your entire screen (or as much as it can, depending on the image size). The caption is still displayed at the bottom of the screen.

  • Click anything to get out of this "fullscreen" mode.

This update works for both the newpost and the reply area (although adding captions in a new reply is still buggy)

You can test the functionality here:

    [Pictures & Captions Test]

    and here:

  • There are 2 Replies

@Pirate_Ninja: (since you responded to the example thread)

the topic was in pointless with no title when I saw it, so I snuck in and tried to add another dragon but it didn't seem to happen

so I figured you were actively playing with that post type or w/e and went on with my day
