Nintendo Shipped 17.79 Million Switch Units as of March 2018

This means that the Switch shipped 2.93 million units in the first three months of 2018, and 15.05 million units during the past fiscal year. Interestingly, the manufacturer’s forecast was quite spot on, and actual shipment exceeded it by 50,000 units.

I’m not surprised really. They have no real competition in the hybrid market which is part of Nintendo’s blue ocean strategy. It’s paying off, I have 2 switches in my house.

Nintendo sold over 10 million super Mario odyssey, 9 million Mario kart deluxe, 8.5 million botw, 6 million splatoon since March 31st. Odyssey's number is insane. Only out 6 months vs botw's 12.

I truly think 30 million by end of the year is possible. They are likely 19 million by end of April at least. With smash, it's possible. Pokemon would make it a lock.
