Picked the Wanderer class, but somewhat regretted not picking pyromancer. Oh well. Anyway, I've been stuck in the undead Borg and... Holy shit this game is tough and requiree a grind. It's very fun and made me put Xenoblade Chronicles 2 torna country dlc down.

Unfortunately I've looked online how to beat certain monsters..

welp. I don't think I'll ever pick up skyrim btw. This might be enough for me till the end of November.

Oh yeah, DF did a tech analysis on the Switch version. It doesn't have the enhanced textures and lighting of the remastered ps4/xbone versions and is more similar to 360 (including 30fps framerate instead of 60fps). However, framerate is more stable and resolution is 900-1080p games. Unfortunately bandwidth is a bottleneck for switch and some pyro effect s are turned down .

I think the "tough" aspect of Dark Souls is a bit overstated. Not that it isn't challenging, but I mean, if *I* can beat it, pretty much anyone can. (The two biggest obstacles in my opinion are Capra Demon and then Smough/Ornstein. Capra Demon is a full of shit fight, and I still can't beat Smough/Ornstein solo. Don't need a human ally anymore, but still need a summon.)

I just feel like it's gonna be weird playing Dark Souls with those joycons. But, I dunno. I will definitely get it when I get a Switch someday.

I'd say its tougher than most games I've played.. I've never died so much in the same freaking levels.. The mini bosses are brutal without grinding.

I played them first with joycons thinking there would be motion controls.. But outside of silly gestures, there aren't. Pro controller feels a lot more comfortable.

Oh yeah, if you do get the switch version, you should know that B and A buttons are just like the xbone and ps4 layouts... meaning B is to accept, and A is to cancel/go back.

I think I'm gonna wait until December until I sign up for Nintendo's online portion.

Can someone tell me the main differences between skyrim and dark souls btw?
I know dark souls is 3rd person, is known to be harder, and more combat based... and skyrim is 1st person and more exploration and character customization based, and more geared towards casuals.. I also heard skyrim's combat system kind of er being panned in a lot of aspects.
