See one re-occurring issue I've had with therapy is that I don't really trust them or feel comfortable iwth them or often just when I'm there I forget anythign I would want to say to them and jsut clam up or start spewing irrelevent crap but as I was mulling over a drunken rambling series of PM's I sent to Moonray the other day it occured to me. This could potentially be mitigated if I were ab le to be drunk durign the session so is this somethign I would feasibly be able to do?

Sir, just suppose... suppose if I had a cat, what would you do with Frankenstein?

Well there goes my plan to actually not make therapy a waste of time. It's the only way I've been able to think to get any value out of paying someone to tell me what I've already heard a thousand times over.

No, no, alcohol is for when you're using your friends as therapy. When you do professional therapy, you microdose on LSD.

But seriously: alcohol is a poison. It's the option for for when having your brain go no place at all is better than having it go to a place that causes suffering.

Alcohol for therapy fundamentally makes it a waste of your time, your therapist's time, and your own money.

Let's just be real: everything to you is just going to be a waste of time in this stage. I hope you eventually find your way out of the wilderness. Not just because I think many of us are just tired of it, but for your sake. No one here *wants* to see you like this or *likes* seeing you miserable. But you seem hellbent on sabotaging yourself and creating barrier after barrier, and even disinterested in a life of well-being. And I wish you could find your path to a healthy mindset and attitude towards life. If I can do it, anyone can do it.
