Guy hasn't even been on a debate stage and is polling well so far... what gives?

he definitely has me nervous, but i’m hoping he’s a paper tiger. if the left actually cares about issues like racism and sexism, they hopefully won’t vote for this pig once he starts to face actual scrutiny. on the other hand, the trump derangement syndrome might be so strong that people might support him because oRaNgE mAN bAD (thus shooting themselves in the foot by electing a more competent version of their enemy).

as far as being “legitimate,” fuck no. these pigs shouldn’t be able to buy the presidency.

another thing — it’s absolutely imperative that we keep him from getting the nomination. we’ll officially be a one party state at that point, where our only choice is between elitist republicans and the screaming demon republicans.

He is doing well in polls because he has congested the internet and tv airwaves with millions worth in ads - effective ads, hollow though they may be. They remind me of the ones JB Pritzker (also a billionaire) ran here in Illinois a year or two ago and now he is governor. They are usually very short ads that say all the right things but stop short of saying what they would actually do in detail, or else they are the sort of “corporate inspirational” type ads that attempt to mimic a Carl Sagan Cosmos soliloquy but just come across as creepy, soulless and Brave New Worldy, at least to me. They seem to work on the casual observer who doesn’t pay close attention to politics though. Wouldn’t surprise me if Pritzker and Bloomberg hired the same advertising team - literally the best money can buy.

Oh and Bloomberg is also paying people off and offering guaranteed contracts through November to new campaign hirees whether he actually makes it that far or not (something less wealthy candidates cannot do) simply because he can afford it, essenially buying their loyalty. Also basically going around and making deals with donors saying “you don’t have to donate a dime to me, but if you refuse to donate to other candidates I will make it worth your while...” He is the most obvious example of an oligarch I have ever seen.

I like Steyer more than Bloomberg. Seems like a nice dude. Just not the dude who should be president.

*Old white billionaires

And Bloomberg is technically Jewish like Bernie. Do Jews count as white people? I’m still uncertain about this lol. I would assume so but neo-Nazis, the alt-right and some Jews themselves would beg to differ.

Considering I made similar comments when the choice was obama vs obama lite, maybe this is just the way things go when there's an incumbent.

This was my exact prediction. Grassroots candidates rise through the polls until iowa, then the money machine starts up and a corporate candidate arises.

Do Jews count as white people?

Whether they do or not, they can definitely count as establishment candidates.
