Hillary Clinton: Nobody likes Bernie Sanders

She is throwing some real shade on him. Accusing him of attacking democratic women even (might be implied from the warren-sanders dispute). She is still butt hurt she isn't president and throws Sanders under the bus and accuses him of costing her election. Lol:

A documentary about Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival this month. In the lead-up to the premiere of "Hillary," Clinton sat down with The Hollywood Reporter (THR) to flesh out some of the topics covered in the film. One of those topics is Bernie Sanders, and in the interview, Clinton doubles down on what she expresses in the film: "Nobody likes him."

"He was in Congress for years. He had one senator support him. Nobody likes him, nobody wants to work with him, he got nothing done. He was a career politician. It's all just baloney and I feel so bad that people got sucked into it," Clinton says in the documentary, according to THR.

"That assessment still hold?" journalist Lacey Rose asked her for the THR profile

"Yes, it does," Clinton replied.

"If he gets the nomination, will you endorse and campaign for him?" Rose asks.

"I'm not going to go there yet," the former senator and Secretary of State answered. "We're still in a very vigorous primary season. I will say, however, that it's not only him, it's the culture around him. It's his leadership team. It's his prominent supporters. It's his online Bernie Bros and their relentless attacks on lots of his competitors, particularly the women."

Clinton went on to say she hopes people pay attention to that, because in her view, "it should be worrisome" that Sanders has permitted and seemingly supports this culture. Clinton said her former rival shouldn't run a campaign on insults and attacks, insinuating that's what he did during the 2016 race.

Rose then asked Clinton about Elizabeth Warren's claim that Sanders told her he didn't think a woman could win (which Sanders denies). "How did you digest that?" Rose asked.

"Well, number one, I think [that sentiment] is untrue, which we should all say loudly," Clinton replied, pointing out that she bested Sanders and then Donald Trump in the popular vote. "I mean, I did get more votes both in the primary, by about 4 million, and in the general election, by about 3 million."

She added that she thinks the press and public need to hold candidates accountable for what they and their campaigns say and do — especially Sanders' campaign.

Clinton said the argument between Sanders and Warren about whether or not he said a woman could be elected is "part of a pattern."

"If it were a one-off, you might say, 'OK, fine.' But he said I was unqualified. I had a lot more experience than he did, and got a lot more done than he had, but that was his attack on me," she said.

Clinton warned that people need to pay attention so the elected president will be one who brings us together, "not either turn a blind eye, or actually reward the kind of insulting, attacking, demeaning, degrading behavior that we've seen from this current administration."
Sanders responded to Clinton in a statement, saying, "My focus today is on a monumental moment in American history: the impeachment trial of Donald Trump. Together, we are going to go forward and defeat the most dangerous president in American history."

When a reporter asked the Vermont senator to respond to Clinton's remark that no one likes him, he laughed it off, saying, "On a good day my wife likes me, so let's clear the air on that one."

In the documentary and the THR interview, Clinton opened up on a number of other topics, including the women running for president in 2020 and why President Trump is even "worse" than she anticipated. She also speaks in the film about one of the most painful chapters of her public life, her husband's affair with Monica Lewinsky, which led to his own impeachment trial.

The four-hour docu-series "Hillary" will be available on Hulu in March.

One of the most unpopular human beings on the planet calling the most popular politician in the United States “unlikeable”? Lol

Being attacked by Hillary = popularity boost. Honestly I’d be more worried if she started supporting him.

I agree with the sentiment I've seen from some people that it's hard to believe there are still somewhat easy to find Hillary fans who seem to eat up whatever she says. What's with those people honestly?

I will say that there are some Bernie supporters who I do actually think kind of fit into these narratives and worse but to act like Bernie and his whole campaign and the whole of his supporters are like that is just ridiculous. Them being there too doesn't mean anyone including Bernie supports their nonsense either. He probably isn't even aware that they support him.

Honestly if anything this coming out shortly after the Warren thing and her bringing up the women angle just makes me even more sure that the whole thing was set up the way it was to bring Bernie down. There's so little reason to believe that in the first place with Bernie's history with women and supporting women and encouraging women to run for president! This just makes me take it even less seriously especially with Hillary being involved.

Hillary being "unqualified" has nothing to do with her being a woman or how much experience she has, it has to do with how awful she is at what she does.

I fucking hate the democrats. Clinton and Warren can rightly fuck off. At this point I am going to toss a coin and vote for either Yang or Sanders since Tulsi has disappeared into the night.

Edit: I looked up Bill Weld on the Republican side and I will prob give my vote to him in the primaries since I'm still a registered Republican.

That'd be throwing your vote away for sure since he really has no chance since according to literally any poll republicans are overwhelmingly in favor of Trump. They also lack name recognition and debates and really anything Trump has all of the advantages. But if you really want to I can't stop you. Just saying of course. In a lot of states you can change what party you're registered with though.

That's why I said the primary. It isn't a vote for trump and the democrats I did like turned out to be nothing but Spineless hacks. Weld best represents my views.

I am also Californian, she will unfortunately vote blue regardless of who I vote for. In the final election I will suck it up and give what ever Democrat my vote (grudgingly of course) or I might just write in Weld.

She is still such a fucking sore loser after 4 years. And to throw Bernie under the bus like that after he supported her 100% after he lost the Democratic primaries. And he didn't even throw any punches at her 4 years ago during the primaries either. Wtf haha.

Does she really deserve a documentary at Sundance? Lol

I guess Yang can still make it to the California or primaries... But in the end in summer.. it's gonna be Biden and somebody else. #2 is either Sanders or Warren. And if those two fail, buttoeileg guy.

If Biden gets the ticket I will not vote in 2020. This country can survive another 4 years of Trump. The Democratic Party cannot. If four more years of Trump results in the end of Democratic Party then it is a small price to pay for salvation.

Burn it to the ground.

Is that what you want in this country? Another 4 years of a president who has withheld documents regarding corruption, a president who throws out duly authorized supoenas? A president who deliberately deceives the American people on a daily basis, a racist whos policies has led to deaths on the border. The history of this country is at stake on this election. We’re not deciding between a Republican president or a democratic president, were deciding on existence or extinction. The fate of this countries lies in the next election.

Burn it to the ground.

America is diseased. Rotten to the core. There's no saving it - we need to pull it out by the roots. Wipe the slate clean. BURN IT DOWN!
