Finding a place to live with my girlfriend of eight years. We applied for a duplex yesterday and it looks promising. It'll actually be in a good neighborhood and looks like it won't have a bunch of sad, angry people surrounding me. Plus, it's pretty equidistant from most of my friend's places, so that's great. They all live in apartments, so I plan on having them over for D&D and such.

Completely restructuring my Spotify library and trying to expand and categorize my death metal collection. Still working on that.

Playing a lot of TF2 and waiting for the World of Warcraft Classic Beta to drop.

Null always drops interesting obscure words that I end up looking up. It's fun.

Inching closer and closer to my 1 year anniversary for my job. Hard to believe that a year flew by so quick. We are well over 3/4ths of the way done with our admissions cycle for Fall 19. The next coming months is where the fun begins because we will be receiving final transcripts from students. If they miss even one requirement we will cancel their admission for fall.

For some of them this will mean losing both their nonrefundable 200 dollar deposit and what ever housing stuff they paid for.

Other than keeping up with work I have been doing pretty good. I have a follow up with my doctor to finish my stuff for the peace corps next week. Hopefully it will be the last time I have to deal with the medical side of things. I havent heard back yet from the Peace Corps. If it all goes forward 4 months from now I will be departing to Guatemala for an adventure of a life time.

I am having second thoughts about it which is understandable. I am giving up a lot and dont know what I will come back with. My best friend told me that in the end the choices that frighten us the most are the ones that are worth it in the long run.

Ive also been pouring a lot of time in my Kindle. I finished Enders game and started up Cyber Storm. Physical will always be better but dam. I enjoy this little device. I will also be purchasing a new laptop at the end of this month and will hopefully be playing Company of Heroes 2.

Helius how are you? Aren’t you like a psychiatrist now? I see one every month I’ve been needing a lot of mental health lately I get depressed so easily now. And are you still a priest? I asked Query what it really means to be a Latter Day Saint and he said Mormon. I have nothing against the faith; I’m just very intrigued on learning about theology in general. I believe in social justice!

It means same distant from two given segments. A circle is where all end points are equidistant from the center.

I will actually be eligible to sit for my Clinical Social Work Licensure on the 15th. It will cultivate 7 years of school, 3,000 hours of clinical practice over 2 years, and begin the journey of continuous learning. I will be able to double my salary over night, and I will be able to supervise others for licensure. It is a bit of a deal. In the long term care facility that I currently work at, I have become a hiring manager, a psychiatric rehabilitation director, certified in crisis prevention, and have been asked to consider a more administrative role/leadership role. It has been a ride!

I am no longer practicing as a Priest in my religious circle due to a crisis of faith and self. It is actually more of an acceptance of self which has been beneficial and empowering to me. So all in all... pretty good!

the definition of equidistant is literally in the word itself

No doubt. I'd just never seen it before. I'd probably never use it either. I prefer to write out the whole thing.

How young are you, that you just now learned “equidistant”?

Do you know “thole”? That’s a fairly recent word for me; sometime in the past bakers’ dozen of years.

BTW I’m a fan of new-to-me words in general; but especially of new short words like “thole”. Or “aptote” (caseless noun or adjective or pronoun).

I learned a new word last weekend: it was “Taglish”.
I knew immediately what it meant.
My Filipina nurse and I were talking about the languages spoken in the various places we’ve been.
Since I already knew about Tagalog, and have heard of Spanglish etc., it was pretty obvious what Taglish meant.

Yeah common sense compound word really. I learned this term in geometry class.

Courage! Ever forward!

I’ve done that recently. I’ll probably have to do it again soon. So I’m on your side.

Often one can understand a well-coined word immediately upon first hearing it; yet still realise it’s a new word.
