We're gonna need a bigger boat.

In the past 30 years alone we've had so many superhero shows. There's the whole DCAU, Marvel Netflix shows, the Arrowverse, Batman the Brave and the Bold, the Ben 10 franchise, Young Justice, Teen Titans, and many more. So out of all of these shows, which is your favorite?

My personal choice is Young Justice. I know a lot of people would pick Batman the animated series and I'll agree it's a great show, but I like Young Justice more. YJ put the spotlight on lesser known characters and focused on them as a team. Robin was really the only member of the team that the general audience recognized. After all, he was in the DCAU, Teen Titans, the two Schumacher Batman films, and the original Adam West Batman. But Speedy, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Artemis, and Miss Martian were all relatively unknown. As the first season progressed, we got to really know these characters. While the second season was a bit weaker when it came to character development (Beast Boy wasn't nearly as developed as the other heroes or his TT counterpart), the bigger story it told made up for it and I loved the introduction of Blue Beetle as it made me want to learn more about him and his backstory.

So what's your pick?

ARGH! This is so hard! Batman was truly the magnum opus, taking the 1930s' vibe of crime-fighters that superheroes were born and kicked the presentation up to 11, but it wasn't the end-all be-all of superheroes.

I particularly liked Teen Titans' chemistry and balance between the characters. The show never lost sight of the fact that their superhero team is actually a team of characters who live with each other. Unlike the other shows that had to be tied down to something, Teen Titans had fairly free range to do everything from the grisly Slade and Trigon episodes to Fractured, Mad Mod, and Control Freak. The show went through so many iterations in a short time, and each new episode felt fresh, fun, and rejuvenating. It would've been nice if it was a tad, tiny, weensy bit more complex with the characterizations (who really believes Raven is that dark, Starfire that ditzy, and Beast Boy that goofy?), but it's a shockingly good episodic show just the way it is.

Obviously Batman and the Justice League follow shortly thereafter. As for Young Justice... I felt it was just too dark and droopy, like sludge. Teen Titans felt a lot more agile.

I haven't watched Punisher and I don't plan to. He took up too much time in DD s2 and I felt like him getting the skull on his chest shoulder have been saved for his own show.

I liked DD season 1, but s2 tried too many things. There was the falling out between the two guys, the Punisher subplot, the Hand and Elektra subplot, the Karen becoming a real journalist subplot, etc... not to mention the villains weren't as interesting as Fisk

If Agents of Shield counts, then that. I've mostly watched the Marvel ones that theoretically have the MCU connection, so my ranking of those would be Daredevil S1 first, Jessica Jones S2 second, Punisher third.

I still haven't watched Young Justice, so I'm going to have to go with Teen Titans.
