Ever wonder what a "Second Person" videogame would look like?

One particular mission in Driver San Francisco might just be it.

We all know what 1st and 3rd person games are.. But second person..? This video is pretty pretty cool! I'd like to see more games take risks like this. Perhaps for an entire game!

a youtube comment best describes this," you're an assassin with a partner who helps you, you're in his body but control your character you see from your partners eyes"

I would have expected it to be more like second-person writing, where you control yourself from the front, looking at your face the entire game.

Whilst this is really cool I'm not sure I agree this is truly 2nd person, it's just an alternative method of achieving third person.

Though if this is closest to 2nd person a video game can get, then I guess that makes Mario 64 a 2nd person game since the camera is supposed to be the Lakitu following Mario?

I was going to mention Mario Bros last night after. Yeah the 2d series could very well be 2nd person.
