Which of these two do you think has made the better Fallout game? Personally I say Obsidian.

Obsidian made New Vegas, so Obsidian.

Obsidian

I've only played 3 and NV. So I guess Obsidian.

Yeah, Bethesda dropped the ball with FO4. I seem to recall Todd Howard saying that settlement building was optional, but in order for you to get into the institute you HAVE to build a relay station or w/e it was called. Now, I generally did the minutement quests because I liked building stuff, but I got REALLY tired to Presley sending me to rescue people because "radiant quests are fun!" according to Bethesda. At least with the radiant quests in Skyrim for the Thieves Guild, you saw the effect your work had on your HQ (even though all it did was add shops). I pray that the next single player fallout we get is at least written by Obsidian because the dialogue in 4 was really bad at times (like when you first talk to the mayor of Diamond City. no matter what option you choose, his response is the same).

Obsidian. Not only because they made the best Fallout game, but also because they made the best Knights of the Old Republic game.

Not at all imo.

While I agree that NV was the best, I don't necessarily favor obsidian as far as games go (how they are as corporations is a different story). Fallout 4 was better than a lot of people give it credit for.

but I got REALLY tired to Presley

You mean Preston.

because "radiant quests are fun!"

I mean really just skip them. You don't have to do most. Also were you aware that the minutemen can have their own ending? It's not completely clear but that exists.

Not a very big issue for me. Iirc his reactions were at least fitting regardless of what you said, plus I'm pretty sure that previous fallout games including NV has done that before.

The only time the dialogue bothered me was if you side with the raiders in the nuka world dlc while also being a part of the minutemen. The dialogue with Preston is amazingly terrible, but it's also terrible in a way that is hilarious. There's really no excuse for that but it at least got a laugh out of me.

I've only played the first KOTOR game and I thought it was amazing, though the opening planet was really boring and the TIE fighter sections are frustrating when playing on mobile

I was so disappointed by that. I was really hoping they would have something interesting happen if you were a Raider but ultimately it just gives you a pathetic line of dialogue and locks you out of the minutemen quests until you decide to not be a raider (or never if you don't stop).

Well something DOES happen ultimately if you keep doing raider quests in the commonwealth, the minutemen end up hostile to you. And that creates a weird contradiction between gameplay and your canon role in the minutemen. But I can overlook stuff like this because the rest of the game was so much fun and so interesting that it's really not worth obsessing over.

and locks you out of the minutemen quests

I did see a video where it's actually possible to do the minutemen main quest despite that. For some reason Preston can talk to you for the quest stuff, but after it's all over it goes back to exactly what it was before with his dialogue so it's even more ridiculous.

Ya I hated this too, like is it really that hard to record maybe 3 extra lines of dialogue?

Not only that but the option you chose isn't verbatim what the character will say.

That's a common problem with games that do the whole "choose what you say" thing lately anyway for some reason. I'm not sure why but I've seen this in quite a few games. Just restart the save or something. And save a lot.

But it did have good dialogue too like when you disavow father and the institute your characters response the VA sounded really good when he said how disappointed he was in shaun
