https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/27091242/nets-sign-durant-kyrie-deandre. Why do I still follow sports? That means that the lakers only choice is to sign kawaii Leonard.

I mean, we kinda knew some super team was gonna form somewhere, right? Kyrie leaving Boston is probably for the best (and Brooklyn was a likely landing spot). We don't really know what kind of player Durant will be coming off that injury, though one suspects he'll still be elite. And DeAndre is a good player, and a great big, but there's no shortage of other top notch bigs around the league.

I don't think this spells the doom for the East, especially if Kawhi stays in Toronto (which he probably won't, but could).

That was likely to happen if Irving weren't staying.

The Celtics will still be competitive - or should be, rather. They've still got plenty of talent.

All of this is kind of reminding me that the NBA should probably downsize. I know why they won't, but I think it would be a better league if it were smaller.

I think that Kansas City/Saint Louis and Pittsburgh should be it’s next two teams.
