Idk but I do know getting them removed is pointless. Which is why this is on pointless? Amirite

Depends on what you mean by "erupt." If you mean when they first appear, that usually happens right around the early teen years; I know I had mine come in when I was in middle school. If you mean when/if they break open, that can happen anytime, and it sucks horribly. It was the reason I got my wisdom teeth out in the first place. They only took out the bottom ones though; my top ones sit almost perfectly in there.

I never had any problem with my wisdom teeth or tonsils. Is that weird?

I remeber reading aboriginals don’t have wisdom teeth problems. Or tribals or Aztecs

They are called wisdom teeth for a reason, they only come through when you are wise.

Based on what? I hear about it all the time here in Britain.

Wisdom teeth removal is done in the United States even if the tooth isn’t impacted. Are you telling me in U.K. the doctors are making you remove your wisdom teeth if they grow in normal?? The cheek!

Posted April 11th by Brandy

Well first my dentist doesn't make me do anything, he suggests what he thinks is right and then I decide if I want him to do it or not.

It was actually suggested to me that I have them removed but I decided against it as I'd prefer to wait and see if they are a problem.

"Wisdom teeth removal is done in the United States even if the tooth isn’t impacted"

Wisdom teeth removal is not required in the U.S.

I know lots of people that still have their wisdom teeth. I had mine removed when I was 14 because they were going to become impacted and mess up my straight teeth. I had just gotten my braces removed.

I had enough room in my mouth to leave mine and my dentist said to just leave them.

This seems like a weird discussion on Brandy's part. Almost like a "Big Teeth just wants to overcharge you and remove all your teeth!"

It’s ironic this what brought up here because I was having this discussion with my coworkers during lunch break and people were like “ you still have your wisdom teeth” and I said it’s pointless to have them removed if their not impacted and some people had them removed anyway.

When was a teen, they told me that mind were fine and not to worry. Years later, they said that they might need to be taken out. Years later, they're still fine.

my top 2 (i don’t have the bottom ones) came in at 26, and i got them removed because one was coming in crooked and the dentist said i might as well get the other one out at the same time since they’re basically useless without the bottoms and just give you another tooth to clean. then i got them vics and spent the next week taking them not-as-prescribed and nodding my head off because i have no opiate tolerance. god i would kill for some more of those tho it’s such a cleaner high than kratom

I thought my wisdom teeth were coming in at 97 and then I discovered it was just general wisdom tooth pains.

I also found out that people can often get confused thinking their wisdom teeth are coming in but they find out that they have actually been in for years but just have general tooth pain like infections or cysts.

My dentist told me that wisdom teeth usually come in around 14 to 17 for girls and around 15 to 19 for boys when the body is still growing and developing.

However my mate Charlie started smoking when he was 13 and he suffered a lot of smoking related illnesses and diseases which stunted his growth. He only grew to 5foot3 and his wisdom teeth never came in. He only had 28 teeth as a 19 year old fully grown man. Some people gave him false hope saying his wisdom teeth would erupt in his 20's or 30's but they never did.

I counted my teeth today and I found out I have 32 teeth in total. How many teeth do you all have?

I have thirty.
I’ve lost a left lower molar and a left upper premolar.

P. S. I can brush the backs of my wisdom teeth. I have a big mouth.

I would assume it has something to do with vulcanology.

I can confirm we usually erupt at age 42. We are planning to build a machine to answer why this is the case.

Why do some people think Wisdom Teeth erupt during the 20's, 30's or 40's?

They must be getting it confused with wisdom tooth pains like cysts or infections like that old man said.

19 year old people are fully grown adults.

Smartest man on planet earth here, the answer is that they erupt when they want to. Sometimes that is past the age of 20!

Smartest man on planet earth. You are delusional if you think Wisdom Teeth can erupt past the age of 20.

The age that wisdom teeth can erupt at the very latest is 19.

The only way it would be possible for someone's teeth to erupt past the age of 20 is if they were living in China and they were over 20 years old in Chinese years. (A 19 year old could be 21 years old in Chinese years).

S.O.H you either live in China OR....

You had wisdom tooth pains at 21 like infections or cysts causing irritation making you think that your wisdom teeth were erupting when they had actually already been in there a few years even though you didn't notice.

Smartest man on planet earth. Do you have any social intelligence?

Dentists aren't always correct about everything. My dentist said sometimes the wisdom teeth don't erupt until age 80 or older.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that's utter bullshit.

Its impossible for Wisdom Teeth to erupt naturally after the age of 19.

I also grew wings at the age of 17 and flew across the world to the island of flying pigs.

Also wisdom teeth wouldn't come in when the body is elderly and close to death. Oh wait maybe you can grow teeth out of your nostrils at the age of 92....

I had my wisdom teeth removed when I was 18 they hurt like shit I had dry socket in the gums and the pain meds didn’t help much I should have tried all sorts of other harder drugs to make me numb. It’s better to suffer an injury than to feel pain and forced to prevent it. It’s not a problem to be physically autistic, meaning break body parts and suffer an injury unknowingly aka not feeling it. I can tolerate swelling. I can tolerate death. What I can’t tolerate is pain. Give me liberty or give me death (drugs)!

actually don't have any idea

I brush in front of a mirror, but I've never stood there and counted teeth beyond "yup everything's there" after I escaped the baby teeth years. And nothing looked weird because it's not one of those ugly ones that sticks out away from the others or anything like that.

but well into my adult years, my dentist asked if I was aware of it. While looking around with the little mirror or something, just like "hey, did you know you have an extra tooth here? It's not impacted or out of line or anything, so I guess it hasn't been a problem."

and nuts in particular wouldn't really work; it's a lower incisor. Which is just as well, because I don't really care for 'em. The edible type, at least :J
