If Agents of Shield counts, then that. I've mostly watched the Marvel ones that theoretically have the MCU connection, so my ranking of those would be Daredevil S1 first, Jessica Jones S2 second, Punisher third.

I think I would have enjoyed the movie a little less without the reactions at the theater, tbh. The cheering when certain characters arrived and the gasps when the big events happened added a lot to the experience for me (particularly in that one scene). Although the reactions were a little problema

Apparently the directors have addressed the Asgard situation:

Personally, I prefer Tessa Thompson's explanation of them just being at the bar.

the phase 3 villains have all been pretty good imo.

Yeah, I suppose that's true, actually. I was thinking of Hela, who was very generic (though awesomely played by Cate Blanchett), but basically all of the best non-Loki villains have come from Phase 3.

I'm not over-the-moon about the movie, but I'm also nowhere near as down on it as you are, Jet. I thought it was good, but not quite good enough to break into Marvel's top tier (which for me includes Iron Man, Avengers, Winter Soldier, Civil War, and Black Panther). I think it's solidly middle of th

I just watched it and I'm still processing. That was a thing, for sure.

I've spent the past couple of months catching up on Marvel movies--I got out of touch there for a while. Just watched Ragnarok on Wednesday, and I caught both Guardians movies, Winter Soldier, and Black Panther in recent mont

Spyro Reignited Announced For PS4 and Xbox One
Video Game News & Discussions

The three original Spyro games are three of my favorite games ever. I remember playing the demo of the first one way back when I first got a Playstation and begging my parents to get me the full game (a neighbor had it and I frequently went over to play it there). Year of the Dragon was my favorite

Do you miss roleplaying on here?
Jedi Sith / Star Wars

Yeah, I miss a lot about it: creating characters with a lot of leeway, the ability to do pretty much whatever (within reason) with those characters, thinking of possible plots for those characters and of the people you may want to involve, jumping into random posts and just seeing what happens. I st

Tim Brady will pay!
The Sports Center

Well, I think there's a slight difference from playing from ahead for most of the game in a lower-stakes situation with Case Keenum as your opponent to playing a game where you feel like you have to score every drive, because your previously-solid defense is wilting like weeks-old flowers before the

That was a fantastic Super Bowl. I liked it better than last year's--while last year's SB had probably the best 4th quarter of all time, it was pretty boring for the first three. This was just a barnstormer from start to finish, and I really didn't think Nick Foles had it in him. And yeah--as tired

Yeah, they blended orchestral instruments with the traditional rock ones. Days of Future Passed is one of my all-time favorite albums and is the first of what Moody Blues fans refer to as the "Classic Seven" albums, and it's also probably the most Floyd-like? Their most popular song is "Night

I've seen other prog bands like Genesis and Rush that compare in people's minds. I guess I'll just have to listen to each one and see...

Personally, I don't see Rush (or Yes, for that matter) as being all that similar to Pink Floyd. They're both prog, but Rush has its own distinct style much li

People have been freaking out about the NFL's ratings all year, and now they've decided what we need is more football? Weird timing for this. I don't mind, honestly, as I do enjoy football, but I'd be surprised if this were especially successful.

Jedi Sith / Star Wars

It was insane. Sometimes a brand new thread would fall off of the front page on the same day, in a matter of hours.

The weird thing is that it didn't seem insane back then--it just seemed normal! Of course, a lot (but not all) of the RPing at that point was basically ~sits on a rock looking sad

Palpatine also never did anything all that spectacular on screen, but he was considered the most powerful Sith Lord, EVER. Luke didn't either. I never understood why he was so powerful, or why Anakin was, for that matter, except that he was exceptionally skilled and powerful for his age. Luke
